This Cookie Policy explains how YourBiz uses cookies on yourbiz.app and its subdomains. YourBiz does not use advertising or marketing cookies. This policy is part of our Privacy Policy.
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small data files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site recognize your browser, maintain your session, and remember your preferences. Cookies set by YourBiz directly are called first-party cookies. Cookies set by other services operating on our behalf are called third-party cookies.
We also use local storage, a similar browser technology, for certain preferences. Throughout this policy, we refer to all of these technologies collectively as "cookies."
2. Cookies We Use
Essential Cookies
These cookies are required for YourBiz to function and cannot be disabled. They maintain your authenticated session and protect against cross-site request forgery (CSRF) attacks. Without these cookies, you cannot log in or use the application.
- Session cookie (
yourbiz_session) — Maintains your login session and authenticates requests. Expires when your browser closes or after a period of inactivity. - CSRF token (
XSRF-TOKEN) — Protects form submissions from cross-site request forgery. Expires with your session.
Legal basis: These cookies are strictly necessary to provide the service you requested.
Functional Cookies
These cookies remember your preferences and settings to provide a more personalized experience — for example, your timezone, whether you have dismissed a notice, or other interface preferences.
Legal basis: Legitimate interest in providing a usable and personalized service.
3. Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns such as page views and visit counts. Cloudflare Web Analytics is a privacy-focused service that does not use cookies, does not track individual visitors, and does not collect personal data. The analytics script is injected at the CDN level by Cloudflare.
You can review Cloudflare's Privacy Policy for more details on how they handle data.
4. Cookie Duration
Session cookies are temporary and are deleted when you close your browser. Our essential cookies (session and CSRF token) are session-scoped.
Persistent cookies remain on your device until they expire or you delete them. Functional cookies that store your preferences are persistent and are cleared when you log out or when they reach their expiration date.
5. Your Choices
Since YourBiz only uses essential and functional cookies — and no advertising or tracking cookies — your primary option for managing cookies is through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:
- View and delete existing cookies
- Block all cookies or only third-party cookies
- Set preferences for specific websites
Please note that blocking or deleting essential cookies will prevent you from logging in and using YourBiz. If you block functional cookies, some preferences may not be remembered between visits.
For information about your broader data rights — including access, correction, deletion, and portability — please see our Privacy Policy.
6. Do Not Track & Global Privacy Control
Some browsers send "Do Not Track" (DNT) or Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. We do not currently respond to these signals. However, since YourBiz does not use advertising or tracking cookies and does not sell or share personal data with third parties for advertising, these signals do not change your experience on our site. You can manage cookies directly through your browser settings as described above.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email at least 30 days before the changes take effect. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version.
